Saturday Sangamam event continued yesterday, 29th June 2024.  Around 110 elders gathered from V.K. Puram, Mannarkoil, Chettikulam, Sivasailam, Kalyanipuram and Alwarkurichi. 

It was a blessed occasion of Varushabhishek ceremony at Sree Sivasailanathar Temple, Sivasailam.  Elders post gathering at Sailam, left to Temple at 11.30 A.M. and until 1.30 P.M. they stood in the koil prarakaram and participated in the rituals and prayers. 

They returned to Sailam and enjoyed கூட்டாஞ்சோறு  Kootanchoru and curd rice. Post lunch, elders deliberated on the 100th Saturday Sangamam and felt proud to be part of the event and association with Vama Trust. 

Sankaran Thatha honoured the Trustee as an appreciation of the service rendered by Vama Trust.  Sh. Maragatham, Retired Teacher came from V.K. Puram shared his thoughts on elders’ care. 

Elders and Vama team deliberated on the course of action to continue the Weekly Sangamam event and also make this event as a COMMUNITY PROGRAM and plan to set up of chapters at various places from where elders are coming.  Elders particularly ladies preferred to come and continue program at Sailam instead of having locally. 

Vama Team mentioned to discuss more during Trustees meeting and plan future events.
