We are happy to share the report of the 158th week of Sangamam, held on 13th December, with the support of HelpAge India, our associate partner, through a medical camp for elders.

This week, the camp was organised at Karuthapillaiyur. We sincerely thank the Panchayat President, Mrs. Kuyili, and the Panchayat Clerk, Mr. Neppolian, for their kind support in arranging the venue and assisting with the camp setup.

The camp witnessed active participation from elders across surrounding villages. More than 40 elders from Karuthapillaiyur, 15 elders from Mannarkoil and Thirumalai Puram, 10 beneficiaries from Kalyanipuram, and elders from VK Puram attended and benefited from the camp.

Doctors from HelpAge India conducted medical check-ups, provided treatment, and created awareness among elders on protecting their health during climate and seasonal changes. Required medicines and ointments were distributed to the elders to manage age-related ailments and body pain.

The Panchayat President and other local representatives appreciated the trust for its continuous service to village elders, especially during the cold season .

After the completion of the medical camp, the elders were invited to our premises for lunch, following which they dispersed happily, expressing their gratitude.
