We are happy to share the highlights of the 133rd week of Sangamam at Sailam. This week, we enjoyed the beauty of Kodai Malai. Although it is not the rainy season, we were fortunate to experience good rainfall. Due to the heavy rain, we were unable to gather participants from many villages, and only the routine beneficiaries attended the event.

This week, we celebrated the birthday of Mr. Chokkalingam and the wedding anniversary of Mrs & Mr.Athinarayanan. Both have been strong supporters of the elders’ mid-day meal program. On this special occasion, our elders had a wonderful time with the guests, reminiscing about their childhood memories and sharing their experiences of enjoying the rain while working on farms.

For lunch, we served a wholesome and season-appropriate meal, including rice, sambar, avial, poriyal, milk payasam, rasam, and vada. The meal was well-suited for the rainy weather and thoroughly enjoyed by all. The elders extended their heartfelt wishes to the couple Mrs & Mr.Athinarayanan and to Mr. Chokkalingam on his birthday.

After the event, we ensured that all elders were safely dropped off at their respective places.
