Dear sir/madam ,we are happy to share 140th Week of Sangamam at Sailam

As part of the 140th week of Sangamam at Sailam, we organized a spiritual trip to Papanasam for our elders. During last week’s gathering, many of our elders expressed their wish to visit the Papanasam temple, especially since the Kumbabishekam (consecration ceremony) had been recently conducted. Honoring their wish, VAMA Trust arranged a trip to the temple for Darshan.

A special Thiruvasagam Muttrothuthal was organized at the temple, where all the elders participated wholeheartedly. We also arranged pooja for the wellbeing of our elders and for the continued service of our Trust. Elders from Thirumalaipuram, Mannarkoil, VK Puram, Alwarkurichi, and Kalyanipuram joined the trip and received the blessings of Lord Shiva.

Our beneficiary Thiravaiyamma shared her heartfelt gratitude, saying:

“This opportunity is very precious for us. None of our family members are ready to take us anywhere, but VAMA continuously provides us opportunities to visit spiritual places and also takes good care of us.”

Another beneficiary, Mr. Arumugam from Mannarkoil, appreciated the support of our trustee Mr. Kumar, and as a token of respect and gratitude, he offered him a Solvai (shawl).

All the elders actively participated in the Thiruvasagam Muttrothuthal and later enjoyed a traditional lunch arranged at the temple premises. The elders expressed their joy in dining together at Papanasam, a sacred place known for Paapa Vimochanam (removal of sins), believing that such a visit helps cleanse the karma of this generation.

After lunch, a small group discussion was held where the elders joyfully shared

their past memories of visiting temples with their family members.

The trip concluded peacefully, and all elders were safely dropped back to their respective places
