Culinary Arts Training

Yesterday (28-08-2024 – Wednesday), we conducted a culinary arts training session for school children. A total of 30 students from Athrikala Middle School, Sivasailam, participated. The session aimed to impart knowledge about the culinary arts and how they have evolved over time, with insights from the Sangakalam era. The students also shared their own cooking experiences from home.

SATURDAY MILAN (சனிக்கிழமை சங்கமம்) – 108

The 108th week of the Saturday Sangamam event was successfully held today at Pappakudi, on the campus of the Thirukadukkai Moontreeswarar Temple.

More than 80 elders from nearby villages and Pappakudi.Mannarkoil ,VK puram,Kalyanipuram and Alwarkurichy participated in the program. Additionally, 45 school children from Hindu Middle School in Pappakudi took part and conducted a cultural program.

SATURDAY MILAN (சனிக்கிழமை சங்கமம்) – 107

We are happy to report that the 107th week of the Saturday Sangamam event was successfully held, featuring two engagements with both elders and younger participants, in line with our concept of connecting generations. This week, we focused on the Independence Day celebration and provided training for the younger participants with the support of the elders in preparing traditional snacks.

SATURDAY MILAN (சனிக்கிழமை சங்கமம்) – 106

Our 106th Saturday Sangamam event was held on the 10th of August at Ambai Tamil Elakkiya Peravai. Our participation was graciously invited by the Peravai’s Secretary, Mr. Lakshmanan, as part of their 49th Annual Day celebration.
Over 60 elders from our trust attended the event, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and engaging activities. We arranged transportation for all attendees, ensuring a smooth pick-up and drop-off. The event itself saw the participation of more than 380 individuals, with our Vama team performing from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
