SATURDAY MILAN (சனிக்கிழமை சங்கமம்) - 156
Greetings from VAMA Charitable Trust!
We are delighted to share the highlights of the 156th Week of Sangamam, held at Tirunelveli Yathavar Samuthaya Munnetram Kattidam, Tirunelveli.
This week’s gathering was made possible with the generous support of our well-wisher Mr. Thiruppathi Prabu, the ISCON team, who supported the venue. A total of 30 elders participated in the Sangamam.
As part of our Wellness Program, this week’s Sangamam was conducted under the theme “Mahilvithu Mahil”, focusing on happiness, health, and holistic well-being for elders.
A dedicated team from Heartfulness and Art of Living (AOL)—Mr. Baskararaj and Mrs. Lakshmi—conducted refreshing physical activities and guided dhyana (meditation) sessions for the elders.
Mr. Arumuganainar and Mrs. Arumugamainar shared their heartfelt “Mahi Ithu Mahil” experience, which deeply moved everyone present. Their generous support towards a poor student’s health needs was also gratefully acknowledged by the elders.
We also had the wonderful opportunity to watch and enjoy a Bharatanatyam performance by our well-wisher Mr. Pandian’s daughter. The elders greatly appreciated her graceful dance and blessed her wholeheartedly.
Many elders actively shared their own experiences, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere throughout the gathering.
Our Trustee, Mr. Muthukumarasamy, extended heartfelt thanks to all participants. A special note of gratitude was also offered to Mr. Sankaran, who oversees the building and has kindly supported and contributed towards conducting the Saturday Sangamam.
The program concluded with a wholesome lunch featuring sambar sadam, curd rice, and sweet, which everyone enjoyed. The elders expressed their strong wish to have the Sangamam conducted frequently in Tirunelveli, assuring that they would attend without fail.
VAMA Charitable Trust sincerely thanks every elder, volunteer, supporter, and well-wisher who made this week’s Sangamam meaningful and memorable.
