On 10^th February 2024, 82nd Week of Sailathil Saturday Sangamam event was held. Around 86 elders gathered and started sharing their experience of their visit to Sree Nithyakalyani Amman Sameda Sree Vilvavananathar temple, Kadayam.  Everyone glad in sharing their nice experiences.  Elders also discussed on the Thai Ammavasa yesterday and Pathra Deepam in Sree Nellayappar Koil. 

Vama team mentioned that this week is Arokyam (healthcare). Physiotherapy support was organised at Selvan Swaminathan Clinic at Avvai Ashram for all elderly people.  Around 11.00 am Van took all of them to Avvai Ashram.  Ms Nithya Priya, Ms Murugeshwari attended elders and supported physio treatments.  Some exercises were suggested.  Post their session at Physio centre, elders returned to Sailam.  Thanks to Dr Balamurugan, Sriramgam Amma and others for arranging the support for elders. 

Elders discussed on various precautions to care health at this stage. Vama team shared the importance of Oil pulling and enabled elders to do Oil Pulling with Gingilly oil and gargling with hot water.  💦 Elders recollected their memories of their childhood when they were doing oil bath weekly.  Importance of Washing hands and legs was discussed and all agreed to keep their hands and legs clean.

Elders enjoyed lunch rice, More Kuzhambu, Cabbage and Carrot curry Malli thivayal and Coconut rice Prasadam.  Dr Balamurugan along with Mr Prem and Ms Murugeshwari, Bride came and had lunch with elders.  Elders sung songs and gave lots of blessings to Ms Murugeshwari who is getting married tomorrow.
