On 17^th February 2024, 83rd week of Saturday Sangamam was held at Sailam. Around 94 elders gathered and actively participated with the concept of “Perserve the Talent and Pursue your Passion”. Smt. Lakshmi from “Art of Living” Tirunelveli joined us.  She started with yoga and exercises and shared her wisdom of knowledge with elders for their wellness. A small story எது நடந்தாலும் அதற்கு ஒரு காரணம் இருக்கும்

“இப்போது புரிந்துகொள். நான் செய்யும் அனைத்திற்கும் ஒரு காரணம் இருக்கும். அது ஒவ்வொன்றையும் மனிதர்களால் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியாது. அவர்களின் நலம் வேண்டியே நான் ஒவ்வொரு பொழுதையும் கழிக்கிறேன்.

அவரவரது கர்மாவின் படி பலன்களை அளிக்கிறேன்.

நான் கொடுப்பதிலும் கருணை இருக்கிறது. கொடுக்க மறுப்பதிலும் கருணை இருக்கிறது” என்றான்…

Post having their exercise & yoga session at 11.15 am elders gathered for activities. Vama team conducted various games such as Passing Ball, putting balls in basket and spoon with lemon run.

Post lunch “Random Name Picker for Activity Draw” was introduced by Vama Team. Seven slips on activities – Dance, singing a Song, share your experience, Proverbs, Quiz points, Share your ideas and mimicry.  Elders picked one slip and performed as per details in that slip.  Very nice experience of knowing talents and past events of elders.

Active Ageing group– one of the concepts discussed in the previous events recollected and reminded by Shri. Ramaya Thatha to go and clean Alwarkurichi Railway Station.  Vama team checked with Railway Station master and other for carrying out cleanup work.  Next, we will do the same. It was also discussed and accepted to have more activity locally at Papakudi, V K Puram, Mannarkoil.

Mannarkoil team invited elders from V K Puram, Alwarkurichi and Sivasailam to see Theppam on 21/2/24 Wednesday.
