On 2^nd March 2024, 85^th Week of Sailathil Saturday Sangamam was held, as per planning Medical Camp was organised.  Three doctors, 1 pharmacist came from Vaigarai Homeopathy Hospital & Research Center, Tharuvai, Tirunelveli.

Day started with yoga practices and meditation by Smt. Lakshmi from “Art of Living” Tirunelveli.

Around 104 elders gathered and benefited with this medical camp support. One of the doctors mentioned that all the elders are hale and healthy and their health condition seems to be improved from their last check-up.  Doctors also added that social and emotional connection is very important for the health of elders. 

Doctors appreciated Vama Trust’s activities to care elders. 

Students and teacher from Hindu Middle School, Papakudi accompanied with elders visited Sailam. They shared their experiences and performed Villu Pattu and Kuttan kuthu and Pattimandram.  Elders enjoyed with school students’ performances.

Elders also wished Mrs and Mr Athinayanan on their wedding anniversary. Performed prayers at Soundarya Ganapathi temple.

Good lunch – Rice, Sambar, Aviyal, Payasam and more was served and enjoyed by elders. 

Pushpam Amma and Ramaya rhatha sung songs to thank Doctors for their visit to Sailam and kindness shown on the elders.

Around 4.30 pm all went back to their home with the memories of Villupattu and Pattimandram performed by students and suggested to invite the children for their local events.
