Although it is not the rainy season, we were fortunate to experience good rainfall. Due to the heavy rain, we were unable to gather participants from many villages, and only the routine beneficiaries attended the event.

We are delighted to inform you about the successful completion of our 129th Sangamam and the 76
th Republic Day celebration organized by VAMA Trust. This week, the two events were combined into a vibrant program.
More than 150 elders participated, alongside 28 students from our evening classes in Mannarkoil. The students performed exceptionally well in the Republic Day program. They sang the national song with melodious voices, and their dance performance beautifully expressed their love for the nation. A team of four members from Heartfulness visited and conducted a session on physical exercises to promote easy body movement and overall well-being. They also suggested simple meditation practices (Thiyanam) to help elders achieve mental freshness and peaceful thoughts.
